I learned that focusing on my dreams and goals without understanding and rewiring my mindset, was only leading to short-term success. I couldn’t seem to make it stick or achieve the type of success that I really wanted.
If you can understand your deep programming and why you behave in certain ways, long-term change becomes much easier.
The first step I had to take was to face my truths and do a deep, self-assessment.
This process involved learning to understand and manage my emotions. I discovered that our emotions contain data that point to our deep beliefs and various conflicts causing us to procrastinate. By exploring and understanding them, I was able to find the internal conflicts causing me to procrastinate.
After that, I had to create a specific plan and learn how to face my fears while overcoming my bad habits and replacing them with new ones, which became easier to implement after facing my truths.
